The best accommodations that would suit this type of trip would be one of Disney's Deluxe resorts. Disney's Deluxe resorts offer spacious rooms with many amenities, an array of onsite activities for both adults and kids and impeccable guest service. We decided to stay at Disney's Beach Club resort. This is not a typical hotel you will find anywhere around the country, as a matter of fact, there is nothing typical about any of the twenty-two Disney resorts.Upon arriving at the Beach Club, we were welcomed by the beach influenced décor and the gracious salute from the captain who stands at the door welcoming all guests as they arrive.
We felt as if we had stepped into a wonderful beach side resort. Yes, we did!.You can walk the grounds and take in the beautiful landscape, filled with exotic tropical foliage, freshly manicured lawns and amazingly shaped shrubs (yes some of them are shaped as Disney characters). Here you will feel the stresses of life lifting off you as you relax on the beach, sink your toes into the soft sand and enjoy the afternoon by the water. Want to get wet? Then head on over to the pool where you will enjoy being lazy upon a tube where you will float into relaxation. If you are ready to be more daring take advantage of the awesome water slides at these deluxe accommodations.
If you are found lounging poolside, you will be welcomed by a very nice hostess who will serve up anything you would like. Sip on your favorite beverage and lounge in the sun as you pass away the afternoon without a care in the world.A trip to this particular Beach Club resort wouldn't be complete unless you experience the tantalizing array of their well known Clam Bake dinner buffet.
What a feast it is, complete with clams, shrimp, fresh fish, roast beef, salads, a great variety of pasta and chicken. End your meal with the delicious desert buffet, and yes you can have more than one!.During your stay, you can casually stroll through the neighboring resorts. Take a leisurely walk over the bridge to the popular Boardwalk area.
Here you will find dining, dancing and shopping. Rent a surrey bike that will surely bring back a flood of childhood memories as you peddle along the pleasant bike and walking path, where no cars are allowed. Rent a boat or jet ski and have fun on the lake as the wind blows its cool breeze upon your face. Enjoy the view of the awesome firework display at Epcot that can be viewed right from the beach of this grand resort. The luminous light show in the sky cast reflections of color on the lake and is a perfect way to end the day.Enjoy sports? Disney World offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities such as, golfing, fishing, boating, all types of water activities, horseback riding, mini-golfing and tennis.

Shop until you drop at Downtown Disney, where will you find a megaplex of unique shops and dining. In the evenings, put on your dancing shoes and make your way to Pleasure Island where music, entertainment and dancing will keep you grooving until early in the morning.So you see, Disney World is more than just theme parks, it is an all encompassing vacation destination that lets you do, whatever it is, you desire to do. When you are looking for a fun filled, relaxing, rejuvenating vacation destination, think Disney, it truly is a big world after all and it's not just theme parks.
